Summer Kendo for Cincinnati

Hello all, this is Chris here with some important practice information!

First of all, I would like to thank everyone for making the UC Kendo Club as successful as it has been this past year.  Not only did we achieve some tournament successes with our UC teams, we even gained quite a few new members.  Whether you're a beginner or advanced person, frequent or sparse attendant, you all have something to contribute to the success of the club.  We hope to see you all next semester as we try to make the club grow even stronger from sheer Kendo ability as well as friendships.

For those of you that might be itching to do some Kendo during the summer hiatus, there are still several opportunities to get some practice in that's within driving distance.  Below are the practice times and locations for the Miami Valley Kendo Club in Dayton and the Northern Kentucky Kendo Club in Covington.  If you happen to be out of town this summer, you can ask me for places to practice where you will be.

Miami Valley Kendo Club

Saturday:  11:15 - 1 PM (Extra practice from 1 PM to 2 PM for those that want a little extra punishment)

Northern Kentucky Kendo Club
Wednesday 7:00 PM - 8:45 PM (Iaido practice is from 6 to 7 for those that are interested in trying it)

Spring Quarter Hours

For Spring quarter, UC Kendo practice takes place at the following times in the Campus Recreation Center:

Monday 9:30-10:45
Tuesday: 8:30-10:45
Wednesday: 8:30-10:45

All practices will be held in Multipurpose Room A.

Finals Week

We will still have practice finals week (next week.) Danessa will be there, so who ever wants to work out some of the stress from all those tests/projects, please come!

New quarter, new hours!

Hey guys, just got the time and location for Fall quarter practice. Here's the schedule:
Monday            9:30pm-10:45pm
Tuesday           7:30pm-10pm
Thursday          9:30pm-10:45pm
All in multipurpose room A! Very easy! All around the same time as well, so very simple!
Now for the hard question. Normal practice hours will start on Monday, Sept 26th. I know this year will be filled with fun and great practice, see you all soon!

New Practice Hours!!!

Hey guys, take a look at the new practice hours for Spring Quarter:
Monday: 8:45pm-10:45pm Room C
Tuesday: 8:45pm-10:45pm Room A
Thursday: 9:30pm-10:45pm Room B
Sunday: 10:00am-12:00pm Room B

Yay, room C is open!

So. Room C is open. Back to normal practice hours. Funny part is, the water transfered to room B hahaha.

Options for canceled room

Room C has been closed due to water damage and is being fixed. So talked with the CRC guy. Currently, Tuesdays will remain the same, Thursday will be in MPR A 9:30pm-10:45pm, Sundays 10am-12pm MPR B. He has given me a list of times that A and B are available if we want to, but there are no evening times Monday. Monday... time frame could be 1pm-5ish, or we could do Wednesday 8:30pm-10:45pm in either A or B. Let me know what you guys think as soon as possible so I can contact him and secure a spot. Otherwise we will be Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday until further notice.

So, options are:

Room C

Unfortunately, multipurpose room c is closed for maintenance. So, Mondays and Thursdays we will try to commandeer one of the squash courts for practice. If you can't find us, give Danessa or Chris a call.
